Terms & Conditions

I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR). Being a member demonstrates that I have a nationally recognised Diploma in Reflexology and meet the highest professional standards.

As an AoR member:

  • I am bound by the AoR Code of Practice and Ethics.

  • I follow the AoR Good Practice Policy and hygiene guidance to ensure client safety.

  • I hold full insurance for medical malpractice/professional indemnity.

  • I meet AoR Continuing Professional Development requirements to keep my practice up to date.

  • I comply with GDPR and am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). Please see my Privacy Policy for further details.

  • As a professional reflexologist with MAR status, I will provide you with appropriate, bespoke treatment and support.

Consultations & Consent

  • All clients must complete a consultation form before treatment. This allows me to understand any health and wellbeing issues that may need considering. Completing this form is also your consent for me to treat you.

  • Treatments will only be conducted if there are no contraindications. GP/consultant permission may be required before treatments can commence.

  • Reflexology is a complementary therapy. It does not replace medical care. I do not diagnose, prescribe, or claim to cure. Always consult your GP or healthcare professional for medical advice.

Client Responsibilities

  • Please provide accurate and up-to-date health information at your first appointment and notify me of any changes before future sessions.

  • If you feel unwell, have a high temperature, or show symptoms such as cough, fever, or loss of taste/smell, please contact me so we can rearrange your appointment.

  • I apply the same standards to myself: if I am unwell or it is unsafe for me to treat, I will notify you as soon as possible.

  • I reserve the right to refuse or stop a treatment if I feel it is unsafe or inappropriate to continue.

Payments & Cancellations

  • Payment is due at the time of booking.

  • As a sole trader, my time is my business. Missed appointments and late cancellations impact my ability to offer sessions to other clients.

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before your appointment can be changed or cancelled free of charge via the link in your booking confirmation email.

  • Appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the session and no-shows will not be refunded. The cancellation fee may be waived at my discretion.

  • I reserve the right to cancel a treatment without notice if the client is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Confidentiality & Data Protection

  • I take your privacy seriously. Your records are kept securely and remain confidential at all times.

  • Please see my separate Privacy Policy for full details of how I collect, use, and store your data in line with GDPR requirements.

Client Eligibility

  • As a mobile reflexologist, my priority is the comfort, safety, and professional integrity of both client and therapist.
For this reason, I only accept male clients who have been personally recommended or referred by an existing client, healthcare professional, or someone known to me.

  • I reserve the right to decline a booking if this requirement is not met or if I feel that a treatment request falls outside my professional boundaries.
